You must follow a specific procedure to install the Taskmaster components on a Windows single machine. The configuration
of Taskmaster on a
single machine is for demonstration or test purposes only. You can
install the TravelDocs application to confirm that the software is
installed and configured correctly.
The IBM® Datacap
Taskmaster Capture installation
and configuration steps are performed in the following sequence.
- Ensure that you complete the prerequisites that are detailed
in Installation and Configuration Prerequisites.
- Add the local system account to the single machine's Administrators
group.
- Run the IBM Datacap
Taskmaster Capture installation
program, install the Taskmaster software
components and any additional components for which you have a license
on the single machine.
- Export the encryption keys.
- Start the Taskmaster server
service.
- Run the Taskmaster TravelDocs
application.
- Stop the Taskmaster server
service.
- Configure Taskmaster Web.
- Configure Internet Explorer.
- Start the Taskmaster server
service.
- Run the Taskmaster TravelDocs
application.
- Configure RV2 and view reports.
- Configure the Datacap Rulerunner Service to
run tasks on a single thread.
- Run TravelDocs tasks.
