Creating batches for verification

Before you can use the DotEdit field-at-a-time interface with TravelDocs, you need to create batches for verification.

To create batches for verification, you need to use the Taskmaster Web client to create batches, and then use the Taskmaster DotScan application to move the batches through the workflow until they are ready for verification.
  1. If necessary, start Taskmaster Server.
  2. Start the Taskmaster Web client, select the TravelDocs application, and log in with the Admin account.
  3. Run these tasks from the Operations tab to create a batch:
    1. VScan
    2. Upload
    3. Repeat steps 3a and 3b to create a second batch.
  4. Start the DotScan application (Start > Datacap > User > Application Clients > Taskmaster DotScan) log on to the TravelDocs application with the Admin account, and select PageID from the Shortcut menu.
  5. Select the first batch that you created in Step 3. When the PageID task completes, click Stop and exit from DotScan.
  6. Start DotScan, log on to the TravelDocs application with the Admin account, and select Profiler from the Shortcut menu. When the task completes, click Stop and exit from DotScan.
Important: To start a different task in DotScan, you must close and restart DotScan.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the second batch that you created in step 3c.
  8. Open the Taskmaster Web client Job Monitor window and confirm that there are two batches ready for verification.
