Installing and updating postal validation reference files

To validate address data by using IBM® InfoSphere® QualityStage® Address Verification Interface, you must purchase and install postal validation reference files. Reference files are updated regularly, typically on a quarterly basis.

Procedure

  1. View the IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface, V10, page of the IBM Support Portal by clicking the following link: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032994
  2. In the Reference Data section, find the part numbers of the region packages that you must update.
  3. Download and extract all packages to a temporary folder by following the instructions in the Downloading the product section. You must extract all packages to the same temporary folder. It is OK to overwrite files that were previously extracted from another package.
  4. Run the appropriate setup file for your operating system.
