Procedure

  1. To open Services, use one of these methods depending on your Windows version.
    • Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Services.
    • Choose Start > Administrative Tools > Services.
    • Choose Start > Search; type Services.
  2. Double-click Services to display the Services dialog.
  3. Select DataStage RFC Manager service.

Troubleshooting

Occasionally, the listener processes may not shut down automatically. To ensure all the processes are stopped:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to Windows as an administrative user.
  2. Open Windows Task Manager. In the Process tab select Show processes from all users.
  3. If any of these dsrfcmgr.exe*, dsrfcsvr.exe* processes show, stop them manually (select the process and then click End Process).
  4. If they fail to stop try using a more authoritative user or restart the Windows server.
