Tracing

Full tracing of CICS® Transaction Gateway can degrade system performance and should not be used in a production environment.

Where possible, try to measure response times through the different parts of your system, without using tracing, to find where delays are happening. For example, you can measure response times at the client application, and also through CICS and WebSphere®. For more information, see Investigating poor response times.
