Using IBM Verse Mobile

You can bring many of the capabilities of IBM Verse mobile – See Important People, manage tasks that Need Action, and act quickly on top items – to your Android or iOS device.

IBM Verse Mobile delivers intelligent, custom applications for both iOS and Android devices, specifically tailored for optimal usage.

For Apple iOS, the IBM Verse app is available from the Apple iTunes AppStore (one app for both device types: iPhone and iPad). IBM Notes Traveler continues to be available to sync to the built-in mail, calendar, and contact applications, and IBM Notes Traveler and the Verse app may co-exist on your iOS device.

For Android users, the IBM Verse app is available on Google Play (one app for both phone and tablet). An important note for our Android users: The IBM Verse app for Android replaces the previous IBM Notes Traveler app for Android. The previous Traveler app is no longer available in Google Play. The new Verse app connects to on-premise IBM Traveler servers with no changes required. Your administrator is encouraged to always have your organization's IBM Traveler server at the latest maintenance level. For new Verse features not yet available with on-premise IBM Traveler, these are silently and seamlessly removed from the app experience.

To use IBM Verse mobile you must be either:

A licensed IBM Connections Cloud or SmartCloud Notes user with your mailbox in the IBM Cloud
An IBM Notes Traveler user with on-premises access to your mailbox

If your mailbox is in IBM Cloud and you have a licensed Verse user account, then you will have the optimal experience on your device and can access all of IBM Verse Mobile's capabilities. IBM Connections Cloud and Connections on-premises customers can access specific Verse features as described in the following tables.
