Updating 4.0 and 4.5 databases to 5.0

Update IBM® Connections 4.0 or 4.5 databases to version 5.0 in an existing database environment.

There are two methods for updating a database: using the IBM Connections database wizard or the SQL scripts provided with the product.

Database wizard: The wizard is a faster procedure and also validates the update. For more information, see the Updating 4.0 and 4.5 databases with the wizard topic.
