Setting up IBM Cognos Metrics to work with IBM Connections
Install and configure your IBM® Cognos® Metrics environment to work with IBM Connections.
This configuration assumes you have already installed IBM Connections.
Note: If you want to use the Connections Metrics application on
IBM i, you need to install DB2® and Cognos Business Intelligence
on an AIX® server. The Metrics
database should be located on an AIX platform.
Refer to Creating Metrics databases on AIX manually with SQL scripts
for Connections on IBM i for more information. Also, for IBM
i, the Cognos server requires WebSphere® Application Server
Base on AIX.
Note: Cognos does not support Microsoft Windows Integrated Security Authentication in SQL
Server.
