You can use IBM® Installation Manager to extract the InfoSphere® Big Match for Hadoop offering.
About this task
You can install the InfoSphere Big Match for Hadoop offering within one of two Hadoop environments. You also have the option of installing the search and social data matching samples depending on the version chosen.
- Big Match 11.4.0.3 is supported on IBM Open Platform 4 and Hortonworks Data Platform 2.2
- Big Match 11.4.0.2 is supported on InfoSphere BigInsights™ 3.0.0.2
- Big Match 11.4.0.1 is supported on InfoSphere BigInsights 3.0.0.1
- Big Match 11.4.0 (on Passport Advantage®) is supported on InfoSphere BigInsights 3.0
The Social MDM Matching Application is not supported with Big Match version 11.4.0.3. Customers who want to use the Social MDM Matching application on Big Match should use version 11.4.0.2 supported on InfoSphere BigInsights 3.0.0.2. Customers who want to use Big Match without Social MDM Matching on HortonWorks Data Platform 2.2 or IBM Open Platform or InfoSphere BigInsights 4.0 should use version 11.4.0.3
