The reference topics present general information about using and modifying the high-level integration language (HIL) rules and generating Jaql scripts.
The reference topics assume some basic familiarity with Jaql, Java™, and common UNIX shell scripts.
The reference topics describe what is in a general release of the language and how to run the language compiler, and then how to compile and run some simple (such as “Hello World”) tutorial programs. Finally, presented are the syntax and semantics of the different language constructs.
To run the programs that are produced by the language, you must have an InfoSphere® BigInsights™ installation.
