Converting a Party virtual configuration project to a hybrid virtual configuration project

About this task

To convert a non-hybrid Party configuration project to a hybrid configuration project, take the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Ensure that you are in the MDM Configuration perspective.
  2. Locate and expand the virtual configuration project that you previously created using the Party template and that you now want to convert.
  3. Right-click the configuration .imm file, then click Master Data Management > Add Hybrid Configuration. In the Add Hybrid Configuration wizard, take the following steps:
    1. ensure that the Configuration project name selected is the one you want to convert.
    2. ensure that the Application location information is correct, or click Configure to change it.
    3. select the Target runtime from the drop down box.
    4. Select the OSGi composite bundle membership box to add the hybrid configuration to a composite bundle.
    5. Ensure that the Add hybid mapping project to composite is selected, and locate the associated composite bundle .cba file in the Composite project drop down box.
  4. Click Finish to complete the process.
