What's new in Version 11.4?

There are many new features and functions in IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management Collaboration Server Version 11.4.

InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server is included in InfoSphere MDM Enterprise Edition and InfoSphere MDM Collaborative Edition.

InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server enables companies to create a single, up-to-date repository of product information that can be used throughout their organization for strategic business initiatives.

Migration support for InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server users

Migration support for Advanced Catalog Management (ACM)
Advanced Catalog Management (ACM) version 11.0 FP5 introduces several new features. In order to use these new features, you must update the data model. For more information, see Migrating Advanced Catalog Management.
Banking Solution Sample
The Banking Solution Sample is a sample data model that is implemented in the collaborative MDM for banking product offer data management. For more information, see Banking Solution Sample.
Banking Solution Toolkit
The Banking Solution Toolkit is used for publishing solution metadata (for example, Spec) and product data (for example, Category and Product) from the collaborative MDM and the physical MDM. For more information, see IBM InfoSphere physical MDM.
Java API Enhancements
Enhanced InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server Java APIs for the unified spec xml support. For more information, see IBM Javadoc Documentation and Object schema.
Application and Stack Upgrade
The following new stack upgrades are supported by InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server:
  • Upgrade Rational Architect Developer to 9.1
  • Upgrade WebSphere Portal Server to 8.5
