For most PIM systems, the tasks that are accomplished in
the product are covered by users in three main roles: business users,
system administrators, and solution developers. Depending on the role
that you have, certain tasks might not be available for you.
- Business users
- Users who manage the content of the product information.
- System administrators
- Users who manage the database and system, logs and performance,
and access for other users.
- Solution developers
- Users who create the objects that make up the PIM system, such
as workflows and collaboration areas, specs, imports, and web services.
