Installing and setting up the database
You must set up the database to complete the IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management Collaboration Server - Collaborative Edition installation.
To install and set up the database, refer to the documentation for your database. To configure the database for use with InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server - Collaborative Edition, refer to the following topics.

MDM Collaboration Server - Collaborative Edition uses
two kinds of connections to connect to the database:
- A native database client to run scripts for creating schema or companies
- A JDBC driver
