Creating and scheduling jobs

You can create and schedule jobs so that users can run these jobs to integrate the Collaboration Server system with the upstream and downstream systems.

Job design
The most common approach to data integration between an outside system and IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management Collaboration Server is the job.
Creating imports
You can create an import so that users can load data from an external source, such as a database or a document store, into a PIM system. You can create the import to load the data one time, and then you can reuse the import to load the data again on demand or on a schedule.
Creating exports
You can create an exports so that users can load data to an external source, such as a print catalog or warehouse, from a PIM system. You can create the export to load the data one time, and then you can reuse the export to load the data again on demand or on a schedule.
Creating reports
You can create reports and make them available for users to run.
Setting up schedules for jobs
You can set up schedules to run jobs such as report jobs, export jobs, and import jobs.
