Before you begin to implement InfoSphere® MDM and Salesforce.com integration, you must have a number of prerequisites in place.
Verify that you have the following requirements in place before you begin the integration process.

IBM WebSphere Cast Iron® Studio 6.4 | WebSphere Cast Iron Studio is used to
design the orchestrations for the MDM and Salesforce.com integration.
These orchestrations define processing activities, such as data mapping
between MDM and Salesforce.com objects, endpoints, and data types.
Customization of the MDM scenarios requires the use of Cast Iron Studio. This component must be installed before you begin the integration process. |

IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.3 | InfoSphere Information Server must be installed before you begin the integration process. The bulk data export scenario, requires version 11.3. InfoSphere DataStage is the InfoSphere Information Server component that provides ETL operations. The InfoSphere DataStage Designer Client is used to configure and run the bulk data export from MDM to Salesforce.com. InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager is used to import your MDM metadata to InfoSphere Information Server. Metadata is required for the bulk data export scenario. |
