IBM® PureApplication® System provides a Monitoring infrastructure that enables monitoring agents to collect performance and availability information.

About this task

The PureApplication System Monitoring service provides the monitoring infrastructure that allows monitoring agents to collect performance and availability information. You can use this information to troubleshoot your system and make business decisions about your hardware and service usage.

The PureApplication System Monitoring capabilities are fully documented in the PureApplication documentation.

Restriction: In IBM PureApplication System and IBM Workload Deployer, the monitoring capabilities work only when started by the default WebSphere® administrative user, virtuser.

Procedure

Deploy the System Monitoring shared services.
Open the IBM PureApplication System Monitoring Portal to monitor the InfoSphere MDM patterns.
