Running MDM Connector stage in parallel mode

You can configure the MDM Connector stage to run in multiple instances. In InfoSphere® DataStage®, this configuration is called running in parallel mode. In scenarios where you have a large data set, you can partition the data into separate sets with each partition being handled by a separate instance of the MDM Connector stage (partition parallelism).

1. In the InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage® Designer client, open your job and double-click the MDM Connector stage.
2. On the Stage tab, select the Advanced tab.
3. From the Execution mode list, select Parallel.
4. Select the Input tab and then select the Partitioning tab.
5. From the Partition type list, select Modulus.
6. Click OK to save your changes.
