After you have completed the installation, run a job available
within the InfoSphere® MDM
Workbench to perform the initial configuration steps for hybrid MDM.
About this task
Running the Enable Hybrid job runs
a set of SQL scripts to configure various settings that enable a hybrid
MDM implementation. (A corresponding job called Disable
Hybrid reverses the configuration steps.)
Procedure
- To run the Enable Hybrid job, open
the InfoSphere MDM Workbench
and create a job set as described in the links shown at the end of
this topic. The job does not require any additional configuration
settings.
Note: Enabling the hybrid MDM configuration with
the Enable Hybrid job does not enable entity
event notification. Enable entity event notification after the initial
load that registers or fully persists entities. See the link about
enabling event notification at the end of this topic.
- After you run the Enable Hybrid job,
restart the server in the Servers view.
