The Health Information Exchange (HIE) Patient Solution is a prepackaged project that is designed to accelerate the implementation of a healthcare solution.

The project contains a number of artifacts (such as attributes, algorithms) that adhere to best practices. The closer you are able to keep your project aligned with the artifacts, the easier and quicker it is to implement this solution.

The high-level steps to implementing this solution consist of installing the products, implementing the Patient solution project, then working with the customer data and making any modifications to the project that are necessary.
