InfoSphere® MDM
Application Toolkit is
a plug-in that you use with IBM® Business
Process Manager (BPM)
to develop MDM process applications.
The application toolkit contains
components that you use, in addition to the base capabilities that
are provided with IBM BPM, to develop process oriented MDM-powered
applications.
For example, application developers can create a process application
in IBM BPM that enables an end-user to search for customer data that
resides on an MDM operational server. The
application toolkit retrieves
a list of search results from the operational server and displays
the results to the end-user in a table. The process application can
then provide the end-user with capabilities to act on the search results.
These capabilities can include:
- Viewing and updating the customer record.
- Creating a customer record. The data that is inserted by the end-user
is stored back into the operational server.
