Supported hardware and software

WSRR is supported on a range of operating platforms. Make sure that you have checked the latest system requirements before you start the installation.

System requirements

Database code set requirement

If you are using an existing database, or installing to a new database, it must use the UTF-8 code set.

Client browser support

The dashboard supports the following browsers:
  • Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 9
  • Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 10
  • Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 11
  • Firefox Version 24 or later
  • Firefox Version 24 Extended Support Release (ESR) or later
  • Google Chrome Version 30 or later
Support covers only the desktop edition of each of these browsers.

You must have Javascript and cookies enabled in the browser. If using Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer, you should not use compatibility mode.

The WSRR web UI supports the following browsers:
  • Firefox Version 24 or later
  • Firefox Version 24 ESR or later
  • Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 9
  • Microsoft Silverlight plug-in for Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer, Version 1.0 or later
You must enable JavaScript™ and cookies in your browser for correct operation of the WSRR web UI.

WebSphere Application Server ND limitations

WSRR is supported only on a standard WebSphere® Application Server cluster; dynamic clusters are not supported.
