Set up the location of the SMTP server and information
to use for sending email messages to users. This information is used
to send email messages for user subscriptions and other notifications.
Procedure
- Log on to the IBM® Rational® Asset Manager web
client as a repository administrator.
- Click Administration.
- Click Configuration.
- Locate the Email section of the Configuration page.
- In the SMTP server text field, type
the location of the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol server; for example, smtp.example.com.
- In the Default return email text
field, type the email address to be used in the reply-to field of
automated outgoing messages.
- In the Default return email name text
field, type the name to be used in the name field of automated outgoing
messages.
- Click Save.
