You can display a list of assets on the dashboard of an IBM® Jazz™ application,
such as IBM Rational® Team Concert,
by adding a widget to the dashboard.
Before you begin
Important: To add a widget to a dashboard on Rational Team Concert,
you must use a release of Rational Team Concert that
is version 3.0 or later.
The IBM Rational Asset Manager server
must be an external friend to the Rational Team Concert server.
For more information, see Adding Rational Asset Manager as an external friend
to a Jazz server.
If
the IBM Rational Asset Manager server
is not an external friend, add the Rational Asset Manager root
services URL to the whitelist of the Rational Team Concert server.
For example: http://servername:port/ram/rootservices.
For information about adding Rational Asset Manager to
the whitelist of a Jazz server, see Managing the URL whitelist.
You must
be able to add viewlets to a dashboard in Rational Team Concert.
Single
sign-on must be configured between the Rational Asset Manager server
and the Rational Team Concert server.
For details, see Setting up single sign-on between two servers.
If single sign-on is not configured, you can view only assets from
communities that do not require a login to Rational Asset Manager.
