Use the nzhealthcheck command to run the Netezza® System Health Check tool and view the report on possible system issues.
The nzhealthcheck command has the following syntax.
nzhealthcheck [OPTION...] [sysinfo]
The nzhealthcheck command takes the following input options. The input options have two forms for the option names.

sysinfo | Generates the Sysinfo Report. |
-a, --detail | Shows all rule results. |
-d, --daemon | Starts the System Health Check daemon. |
-D, --mode=diagnostic | Switches the daemon to the diagnostic mode and restarts it. The daemon works in this mode by default. |
-M, --mode=monitoring | Switches the daemon to the monitoring mode and restarts it. |
-I, --mode | Display the current status of the daemon and its mode. |
-?, --help | Displays detailed help on command usage. |
--usage | Provides a short usage message. |
-V, -v, --version | Provides the System Health Check version. |
You use the nzhealthcheck command to generate the System Health Check Report. You can also generate the Sysinfo Report with additional data about the system that might be of use when troubleshooting problems. When running the command, the Netezza system can be in any operational state.
The nzhealthcheck tool is installed in /nz/kit/share/healthcheck.
