Liberty profile xsDynacacheApp feature properties

Specify Liberty to host the data grid, which you can configure as a dynamic cache provider with this feature.

You can set the following attributes on the xsDynacacheApp element of the server.xml file.

Parameters

gridName

A string value that defines the name of the data grid instance that is used for a particular dynamic cache instance.

cacheName

Specifies the name of the unique suffix that is used as the name of the template map; for example:

 IBM_DC_PARTITIONED.cache_name

mapName

Specifies the name of the map for the data grid, which is the dynamic cache provider.

remoteDomain

Specifies the remote, client domain name of the data grid dynamic cache provider in the Liberty.

clientObjectgridXML

Specifies the file location of the client objectgrid.xml file for eXtreme Scale.

requestRetryTimeout

Specifies how long, in milliseconds, a request can run before timing out. This property overrides the requestRetryTimeout property if it is set in the client properties file. The default value for dynamic cache instances is 2000 milliseconds.

templateName

Specifies the name of the template map prefix. You can use one of the following map templates:

IBM_DC_PARTITIONED_.* (Default)
IBM_DC_NCI_PARTITIONED_.* (Indicates that this cache uses a near cache)
