Scenario: Using WebSphere eXtreme Scale as a dynamic cache provider

The WebSphere Application Server provides a Dynamic Cache service
available to deployed Java EE applications. This service is used to cache business data, generated
HTML, command output, etc. Initially, the only provider for the Dynamic Cache service was the
default dynamic cache provider that is built into the WebSphere Application Server. Today customers
can also specify WebSphere eXtreme Scale to be the cache provider for any given cache instance. This
enables applications that use the Dynamic Cache service, to use the features and performance
capabilities of WebSphere eXtreme Scale.
