User accounts for the dashboard

When you install the InfoSphere® Data Replication Dashboard, a default user ID of dashboarduser is created with an initial password of dashboarduser. The default ID has administrator privileges.

It is recommended that you change the default password when you first log on to the dashboard by clicking Open > Change Password.

Additional user accounts must be created from within the dashboard by someone with administrator privileges. The following list shows the different types of user accounts and their privileges:

Live Graph Viewer
Can view only live graphs in the dashboard and cannot make any changes.
Viewer
Can view the entire dashboard but not make any changes.
Restricted Group Viewer
Has the same privileges as the Viewer, but can be assigned to view only certain monitoring groups. The administrator can also enable this user to perform all subscription operations and change Q Capture and Q Apply parameter values.
Monitor
Has all privileges of the Viewer, plus can perform all dashboard functions except changing the properties of replication objects or performing operational tasks such as starting or stopping replication objects.
Operator
Has all privileges of the Monitor, plus can change or perform operational tasks on replication objects.
Administrator
Can perform all functions, including creating new users, changing the roles of users, and editing the server connections of other users.
