Enabling Oracle support for the dashboard

The following steps are required to enable the dashboard to monitor Oracle source databases.

Procedure

  1. After you successfully install the dashboard, stop the web server. See Operating the dashboard web server for details.
  2. Copy an Oracle JDBC driver (ojdbc14.jar or ojdbc5.jar) into the following location: 
    installation_directory\wlp\usr\servers\iidrdashboard\apps\rdweb\WEB-INF\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.datatools.shared.db.drivers_2.1.0.v200808130505
  3. Start the dashboard web server with clean cache option. Follow the steps for your operating system:
    Windows
    Click Start > Programs > IBM InfoSphere Data Replication Dashboard > Clear Cache & Start Server.
    Linux, AIX
    Run the following command from installation_directory/wlp/bin: 
    sh server start iidrdashboard --clean
