Configuring the ClearQuest Web properties files

Configure the Rational ClearQuest Web properties file CqServerConn.properties and the Rational ClearQuest OSLC API properties file cqrest.properties to customize various features.

The CqServerConn.properties file is used by the ClearQuest Web application to support various features. The cqrest.properties file is used by the ClearQuest OSLC REST interface to support various features. These configuration files are installed in the following directory:

WASinstallDir\installedApps\WAScell\TeamEAR.ear\cqweb.war\WEB-INF\classes

where:

WASinstallDir is the directory where WebSphere Application Server is installed.
WAScell is the WebSphere Application Server cell directory

The files include detailed comments that describe the configurable parameters. You can also refer to the CqServerConn.properties.default and cqrest.properties.default files for information about the configurable parameters and default values.

The Installation Manager preserves your file modifications when you upgrade or uninstall and reinstall Rational ClearQuest.
