The SYSPRINT data set contains the Control Statements and
Messages report that is produced by IMS Database
Repair Facility.
In the Control Statements and Messages report, a message
follows each VER operation. It shows the data on the data set at the
specified offset. If the data matches, the REP that follows it takes
place. If it does not match, all REPs and DUMPs are skipped until
a new KEY, RBA, NUM, or CNV is located.
If the REP operation
is successful, a message follows, that displays the data replaced
on the data set. (This is a double check for the VER operation.) If
the DUMP control statement is specified, a dump is printed for the
record or control interval that is specified by the previous KEY,
RBA, CNV, or NUM control statement.
The following figure shows
an example of a Control Statements and Messages report.
