Viewing and updating FSEAP and FSE chain within block or CI

The Free Space Element Chain panel shows a free space element anchor point (FSEAP) and a list of free space elements (FSEs). You can use the displayed chain to repair a database.

Procedure

Access this panel by selecting the FSE chain option on the Initial selection panel.

The first few lines on this panel provide information that identifies the database and data set. The lower part of the panel shows the FSE anchor point and the chain of free space elements. You can overwrite the values that are shown in Next-FSE-ofst or FSE-length to repair the database. Press Enter to accept your changes. Be careful when you modify these fields.
