Prerequisite: Install the Common Inventory Technology

Before upgrading the agent, you must install the current version |of Common Inventory Technology (CIT).

The following are examples of the commands that you run to install |CIT on Windows and UNIX workstations. See Software packages and parameters for a description of the parameters.
