Rational Application Developer: Installing Rational Team Concert Client into the workbench

This topic provides instructions for installing IBM® Rational Team Concert™ client into the same workbench as Rational® Application Developer.

You can install Rational Team Concert Client into the same workbench as Rational Application Developer using either of the following methods:

Use IBM Installation Manager to install Rational Team Concert Client. During the installation step in which you specify the installation location (sometimes called the Package Group) for Rational Team Concert Client, enter installation location for Rational Application Developer.
Important: If you are installing v3.0.1.x using Installation Manager, then you must install the client from an installation repository that works with Installation Manager. To access the installation repository:
1. In a web browser, open the following URL to view the list of Rational Team Concert releases: https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/
2. Click a version 3.0.1.x.
3. Click the Release Notes link that is located at the top of the page.
4. Scroll to the section titled Installation and Deployment Issues and follow the instructions under the heading Client for Eclipse 3.6 based Rational Software Development Products.
