For usage-based licenses only, Content Manager EE collects usage statistics
and with IBM® System
Dashboard for Enterprise Content Management and generates an XML file which can be analyzed with the IBM License
Metric Tool (ITLM).
The valid license types are:
- User Value Unit, Authorized User (UVU)
- Usage-based license for frequent Content Manager EE users (121 times or more
in 12 months). The library server configuration will register and
activate a usage collection service for Content Manager EE with minimal performance
impact. This license is the most common.
- Processor Value Unit, Production (PVU)
- PVU-based production license. Content Manager EE will not collect any library server usage information.
- Processor Value Unit, Non-Production (Non-Prod PVU)
- PVU-based non-production license. Content Manager EE will not collect any library
server usage information.
- External Population Resource Value Unit (XPOP RVU)
- XPOP RVU-based license. The library server configuration will
register and activate a usage collection service for Content Manager EE.
If you mistakenly specify the incorrect license
type, you can change the license type at a later time.
