- Comparing files
You can examine the similarities and differences of two file versions from the History dialog box. The versions can be writable, and do not require a common ancestor. Comparisons are relative to the second version selected. - Comparing parallel files or directories with predecessor
You can compare files or directories with their predecessors. - Showing parallel versions
Parallel conflicts occur when there are parallel versions of objects in a project. If you find parallel versions in your project, you can compare and merge the files, and view the history and properties of the files. - Comparing an object to a related object
You can examine the similarities and differences of an object version to its associated object. You can also compare a project with its baseline project, a project grouping with its baseline, and a process rule with its process. - Comparing two like objects
You can examine the similarities and differences between two of the same types of objects. Additionally, you can compare files; however, you are actually comparing the content, not the properties, of the files.
