Task 8: Publishing your scorecard to the Decision Center repository

You learn how to publish the scorecard to the Decision Center repository.

About this task

In this task, you publish your scorecard to the Decision Center repository. You must have the sample server running for this task.

Procedure

To publish a scorecard to the Decision Center repository:

  1. From the Start menu, click All Programs > IBM > package_group > Sample Server > Start server.
    Note:

    package_group is the package group specified in IBM® Installation Manager during installation. The default package group is Operational Decision Manager.

  2. In the Rule Explorer view, right-click scorecardpublish_tutorial, and then click Decision Center > Connect.

    In the Decision Center configuration window, specify the following connection details:

    Field Value
    User name rtsAdmin
    Password rtsAdmin
    URL http://localhost:<PORT>/teamserver
  3. Click Connect, make sure that Create a new project in Decision Center is selected, and then click Finish.

    The scorecardpublish_tutorial rule project is published to Decision Center. For further information on how to publish to Decision Center, refer to the main Decision Server Rule Designer documentation.

  4. Publish the scasharedBOM_tutorial rule project to Decision Center in the same way.
  5. Access the Decision Center sign-in page at the following URL:

    http://localhost:<PORT>/teamserver

  6. Log in to Decision Center using rtsConfig as the username and password, and then click the Home tab.
  7. From the Project in use list, select scorecardpublish_tutorial.
  8. Click the Query tab, and then create the following query named ScorecardTechnicalRules to find all technical rules:
    Find    all technical rules
  9. Run the query to display the published scorecard technical rules.

Results

In the next task, you deploy the ruleset that contains the scorecard to Rule Execution Server, inside a RuleApp.
