Viewing server information

You can view information about the server at any time from the Server Info page or from the Rule Execution Server console top banner.

About this task

You can view information about the server either when an error or warning is logged, or at any time from the Server Info tab or from the top banner. An icon in a corner of the top banner indicates the server status.

Procedure

If an error or warning message is displayed, open the Server Info View from the top banner in one of the following ways:
- Click view errors if an error has occurred.
- Click view warnings if a warning has occurred.
To open the Server Info View at any time, click the Server Info tab.
The Server Info View displays the following information.
- Applications Under License
- Startup Time
- Last Update Time
- Total Number of RuleApps
- Total Number of rulesets
- Persistence Type
- Log Level
- Log File
Tip: In the Create Date column of the Console Messages table, the time stamp displays the time zone of your browser.

Results

The Rule Execution Server version number is displayed on the Server Info page.
On z/OS®, the Rule Execution Server console, the additional Configuration Details column displays information about the configuration of the execution units (XU), in particular their persistence settings. If a process detects that the XU does not use the same persistence mode as the Rule Execution Server console, a warning is displayed.
Rule Execution Server automatically locates the server on which it is running and sets the value of the Execution Unit Location accordingly to zRule Execution Server or CICS JVM Server.
