Making the XOM accessible by deploying the XOM

You can deploy a XOM directly to a Rule Execution Server.

About this task

The XOM of each rule project on which you want to perform testing must be accessible to the SSP. You can deploy the XOM of a rule project directly to a Rule Execution Server using Managed XOM.

Note:

Alternatively, you can repackage the SSP with the XOM (see Making the XOM accessible by repackaging the SSP) if you want to persist the information in a DVS Project.

Procedure

To make the XOM accessible to the SSP by deploying:

In the Rule Explorer, right-click a rule project and select Decision Validation Services > Deploy XOM for Remote DVS Testing.
Select an existing Rule Execution Server configuration or create a temporary one, and click Finish.
Synchronize your project to Decision Center so that the deployment.xml file, created when you deploy, is available in Decision Center. This file contains the list of deployed XOMs.

What to do next

Make sure the URL of the Rule Execution Server you indicated when deploying the XOM is the same as the one you use when you create the server location in Decision Center.
