From the Rule Analysis view, you can directly access the
rules that contain ambiguities and conflicts.
About this task
The Rule Analysis view displays
the ambiguities or conflicts found in your rule project and provides
a link to the rules that contain these potential errors.
Procedure
To resolve ambiguities or conflicts:
- Expand each ambiguity or click
Expand all on the top of
the Results section.
- To open the rule, click the link that points to it.
- Modify the rules as appropriate and save your rule project.
Rule analysis reports ambiguities or conflicts. You can choose
to fix them, or to ignore them if you think they are not relevant.
For more information on the type of ambiguities and how to resolve
them, see Consistency checking.
Note: If
you close or delete your rule project, the results disappear from
the Rule Analysis view.
