Editing virtual application patterns

You edit IBM ODM virtual application patterns from the Virtual Application Builder window.

About this task

In the Virtual Application Builder window, you can perform the following editing tasks:

Further define the pattern, for example with a description and type
Add components and link them
Provide the necessary configuration for the components of the pattern

Procedure

To further define an IBM ODM pattern with, for example, a description and type, components, and configuration for the components, complete the following steps in the Virtual Application Builder window.

For a new pattern, click Start Building.
For an existing pattern, click Open .
To edit the properties of a component, select the component on the center canvas of the Virtual Application Patterns window and edit its properties on the right panel.

What to do next

Ensure that you configured all the required components properly for the virtual application pattern. When you are finished editing your pattern, click Save. You can deploy the pattern when your configuration is complete.
