To configure Rule Execution Server for WebSphere® Application Server, you must also deploy the MBean descriptors.
Make sure you give the application server process enough access right to read the jrules-mbean-descriptors.jar file. For example, change the permissions on the file using a chmod 777 command.
The Rule Execution Server architecture is based on the Java Management Extension (JMX) API. MBeans are Java objects used by the JMX API. To configure Rule Execution Server for WebSphere Application Server, you must deploy the MBean descriptors, either globally for all Rule Execution Server instances or for a single Rule Execution Server instance.
To deploy globally, copy the <InstallDir>/executionserver/lib/jrules-mbean-descriptors.jar file to the <WAS_HOME>/lib directory.
To deploy to a targeted server instance, follow the procedure below.
To deploy MBean descriptors:
