Testing the connection to the database

After you have created a data source and connection pool, and set the custom properties, you can test the connection to your database.

Procedure

In the Integrated Solutions Console, open Resources > JDBC and click Data sources.
Select the check box next to the data source that you want to test and click Test connection.

Results

The status of the connection is indicated at the top, as shown in the following example.
