The Rule Execution Server console
is a web-based graphical interface to access most of Rule Execution Server features.
It works both on SOA and z/OS platforms.
Use the Rule Execution Server console
to manage and monitor RuleApps, ruleset archives, managed XOM resources,
and transparent decision services. From the Rule Execution Server console,
you can also access the REST API test tool.
This online help documents the Rule Execution Server console.
It provides an overview of what the interface is for and how to use
it.
Rule Execution Server
is a module of Decision Server and
works with the other modules of the Operational Decision Manager product
family. Refer to the product line documentation to find a description
of Rule Execution Server and
how you use it to manage and monitor deployed rulesets and decision
services.
- Introducing the Rule Execution Server console
- The Rule Execution Server console
provides a web-based graphical interface to manage and monitor RuleApps,
ruleset archives, and transparent decision services, both on distributed
and z/OS platforms.
- Viewing and managing RuleApps
- From the Rule Execution Server console,
you can create, edit, deploy, undeploy, and archive RuleApps. You
can also create, remove, and modify RuleApp properties.
- Viewing and managing rulesets
- You view and manage rulesets from a RuleApp View, or from the
Ruleset View of a selected ruleset. You can bookmark, enable or disable
rulesets, add ruleset properties, manipulate ruleset archives, add
references to Java XOM resources,
and set WSDL options.
- Viewing and managing Java XOM resources
- If you deploy a Java XOM
as JAR or ZIP resources, you can manage these resources through the
Resources View.
- Viewing and managing Java XOM libraries
- You can deploy an ordered list of Java XOMs
as a library. When you do so, you can manage such libraries through
the Libraries View.
- Monitoring ruleset execution
- Using the monitoring capabilities of the console, you can enable
the debug mode, enable ruleset monitoring, generate ruleset execution
statistics, test ruleset execution, and view execution-related events
in the XU log.
- Viewing and managing transparent decision services
- You can view, enable, or disable transparent decision services,
and add or remove properties to them. Transparent decision services
are not available on zRule
Execution Server for z/OS.
- Monitoring and managing the server
- You can use the console to manage the configuration of the server,
monitor server and application performance, and view server and execution
log files.
- Monitoring and managing Decision Warehouse
- From the Decision Warehouse page, you can specify a data source,
filter and view traces, and delete trace information. Specific information
is displayed for rulesets that are deployed from Decision
Center.
