Editors and views

Rule Designer provides various editors and views. The following sections describe how you use them.

Action Rule Template Guided Editor
You use the Action Rule Template Guided Editor to edit an action rule template.
Agenda view
You use the Agenda view to display rule instances put in the agenda when you debug the execution of rules by the engine in RetePlus mode.
BOM Editor
You use the BOM Editor to edit BOM entries and the vocabulary.
BOM Update view
The BOM Update view lets you detect and resolve differences between the XOM and BOM by correcting BOM classes.
Guided Editor
You use the Guided Editor to edit action rules in a point-and-click manner.
Decision Table Editor
You use the Decision Table Editor to edit the rows and columns of a decision table.
Decision Tree Editor
Use the Decision Tree Editor to edit the nodes and branches of a decision tree.
DVS Project Validation view
You use the DVS Project Validation view to check that you can use your project to generate an Excel scenario file template for testing.
DVS Configuration Editor
Use the DVS Configuration editor to specify the DVS configuration used for the deployment of the updated Scenario Service Provider (SSP) and Decision Center.
DVS Customization Editor
You use the DVS Customization Editor to edit a DVS customization which contains the reference to the rule projects that you want to test.
DVS Format Editor
You use the DVS Format Editor to enter scenarios and KPIs for testing and simulation.
Function Editor
You use the form-based Function Editor to edit the content of a function.
Intellirule Template Editor
You use the Intellirule Template Editor to edit an action rule template that contains errors.
Intellirule Editor
You use the Intellirule Editor to edit an action rule in a free text mode.
Properties view
You use the Properties view to display the properties of rule project items.
Query Editor
You use the Query Editor to edit queries using the Business Query Language (BQL).
Rule Analysis view
You use the Rule Analysis view to run reports on the consistency of the rules in your project and on the completeness of your rule project.
Rule Explorer view
You use the Rule Explorer view to browse rule projects and resources.
Rule Extension Model Editor
You use the Rule Extension Model editor to edit data for an extension model at the object, root or model level.
Rule Project Map
You use the Rule Project Map to view the status of goals and tasks in a rule project.
Ruleflow Editor
You use the Ruleflow Editor to create and edit ruleflow elements.
Technical Rule Editor
You can edit a technical rule written in the ILOG® Rule Language (IRL).
Variable Set Editor
You use the Variable Set Editor to create or edit ruleset variables.
Vocabulary view
You use the Vocabulary view to display all the elements in the vocabulary of a rule project.
Working Memory view
You use the Working Memory view to display the current state of objects in the working memory when you debug the execution of rules by the rule engine in RetePlus mode.
