Specifying passwords on the command line is insecure due
to the text being visible. See the Installation and Configuration
Guide for your platform for information about the arsstash command
or using Unified Login.
Explanation
Specifying a password on the command line is considered
insecure as the password is displayed in plain text. You should use
the arsstash command to generate a stash file and
pass this filename to the command or use a Unified Login for Windows
or z/OS.
User response
Use a password stash file or Unified Login instead
of passing a clear text password on the command line.
