Using partitions in SmartCloud Notes Administration

If you use partitions in your organization, you can filter users by partition when performing many of the SmartCloud Notes® administration tasks.

Users who have the User Administrator role can perform most of the administration tasks, such as tasks performed in SmartCloud Notes Administration on the Users or Provisioning pages. They cannot perform configuration tasks.

When performing administration tasks for a user, User Administrators can select the partition that the user is in. If they don't know which partition that is, they can return to the Connections Cloud User Accounts page to view the user's partition assignment. Users with the Administrator role, can select All to view the names in all partitions on theSmartCloud Notes Administration pages.

By contrast, users who have the Administrator role, (sometimes referred to as organization administrators) can perform all configuration tasks. They can also perform administration tasks for all users in all partitions.
