Configure a new DB2 environment

To create a new DB2® configuration, select option 1 from the configuration menu. To access a previous DB2 configuration, select option 2 and select the required configuration from the list.

Select the option that you require and follow the on-screen instructions.

To configure CICS® IA for a DB2 database, you must complete the following fields:

CONFIGURATION NAME: The name of the upgraded DB2 configuration. Set this variable to something meaningful such as the name of the DB2 subsystem in which you are creating the CICS IA DB2 database.
REQUIRED.

DESCRIPTION: A short description of the DB2 configuration.
OPTIONAL.
