Configuring Cloud instances for cluster nodes to work with ROHA
You must configure Cloud instances on all PowerHA® cluster nodes to use with Resource Optimized High Availability (ROHA) in Cloud. The information about ROHA in Cloud configuration is used during acquire or release operations of the resources (memory or processing units) in the Cloud environment.
You can use the SMIT interface and the clmgr utility to configure the Cloud
instance for IBM®
Power® Systems Virtual Servers that is used by the PowerHA SystemMirror® cluster. This feature is supported
in PowerHA SystemMirror 7.2.6 SP1, and
later.
Note: In PowerHA SystemMirror 7.2.6 SP1,
the ROHA in Cloud configuration is supported only for the standard type of cluster
configuration.
