If SELinux is in enforcing mode, an exception occurs during
the installation of IBM® Operations Analytics - Log Analysis.
Ensure that the SELinux policy is set to a permissive or disabled
state. To disable the SELinux:
Procedure
- Log in as a root user.
- Edit the config file that is in the /etc/selinux/ directory.
-
Change the
SELINUX
value to a permissive or disabled state. The possible
values are:
permissive
- SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing them.
disabled
- SELinux is fully disabled.
For example, to disable the kernel, change the value to
disabled:
SELINUX=disabled
- Save your changes.
- Restart the operating system.
